Masala Thepla| Spicy Flat Bread| Quick 'n Easy Breakfast Recipe

Masala Thepla is a spicy flatbread with wheat flour and gram flour, Gujarati Breakfast Specialty. It can be served with chundo (sweet mango pickle), green chutney, ketchup, butter or plain yogurt. It is also great for your lunch box, picnic food, travelling because of its long shelf life!!

Ingredients for Masala Thepla (Makes 8 Theplas)
1 cup or 150 g wheat flour (atta)
½ cup or 50 g chickpea flour (gram flour or besan)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
2 finely chopped/minced green chillies
½ tsp cumin (Jeera)
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp coriander powder (dhania)
½ tsp dry mango powder (amchur)
½ tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
¼ cup coriander leaves
1 tbsp ghee or cooking oil
1/3 cup plain yogurt (curd/dahi)
¼ to 1/3 cup water
