Churros, Churros, Churros! I love them. You won’t believe I had my first taste of Churros at Costco 🤦🏿♂️ To be honest, my life changed after tasting the authentic stuff. I saw the light. Churros are an anytime snack. I hoard them like a Beaver hoarding logs. They are simple and delicious and if you’ve eaten one, you know.
I decided to make an Alkaline Vegan Mexican Version of Churros because it makes me sad to know that most Alkaline Vegans or Vegans think certain recipes cannot be recreated for them. You can make any recipe Vegan… believe that! Any way, I hope you make and enjoy this awesome quick snack. You can make Churros with any flour… any. The taste may differ, but it still will be very edible and tasty. I tried it with a lot of other flours and they all came out tasting ✔️
Please if you know why my baked churros came out flat. It could be that my dough wasn’t thick enough, oil was too much/too little, or the heat was too low.
